Who we are / What we do
Lyriat Analytics is an independent data engineering and statistical consultancy. We work with charities, universities, medical trusts, businesses and entrepreneurs, as well as students and researchers, building the data foundations they need and turning what they collect into analysis and reporting they can stand behind — in front of a board, a funder, an ethics committee or an examiner.
Every project starts with you: your goals, your data and the resources you have to work with. Whether you are a sole trader or a large organisation, we adapt our solutions to the needs and capacity of your business, and translate broad objectives into clear, detailed technical deliverables.
Our work spans the whole data life-cycle. On the engineering side, we set up and advise on data infrastructure, build automated, analysis-ready pipelines (ELT/ETL, Snowflake, Databricks, Python), and put data quality testing and governance in place so your data stays trustworthy and compliant. On the analysis side, we offer study design and power analysis, data cleaning, statistical analysis in R, Python and SPSS, qualitative coding, evidence reviews and meta-analyses, and dissertation statistics support.
We also train individuals and teams in scientific computing, data science and data engineering using their own projects, and build modern, responsive websites and web apps to showcase results.

Director & Founder
Dr D. Schneider
Led by a senior statistician, we bring over a decade of experience leading data projects from first brief to final delivery. We have worked as technical lead and main point of contact for clinical and research teams: turning project requirements into clear specifications, building reproducible pipelines and analysis-ready datasets, and delivering tested, documented results to internal and external partners. Our background spans the Francis Crick Institute and Imperial College London, including leadership roles in assessment and tutoring. We apply that same end-to-end ownership to every client, so the work keeps delivering long after handover.
